information

All Saints Church was built between 1786-9 overlooking the quayside on the site of a medieval Church. It was designed by David Stephenson and is classical in style with an elliptical dome and a spire added in 1796. It was deconsecrated 1961 and currently seems to function as an auditorium hosting regular classical music concerts.

The Graveyard has some fascinating examples of late 18th Century relief carving on stones. Unfortunately it is not in a very good state of repair. However if you can dodge those folks sitting in the corner enjoying a meagre supply of drink and drugs there is many interesting memorials and a unique and peaceful atmosphere.
